Biafrans across Europe storm EU parliament (photos/video)
- Members of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) across Europe stormed Brussels the capital of Belgium (the headquarters of the European Union parliament) venue for the European Union summit to protest the illegal detention of Nnamdi Kanu.
- The IPOB members came from Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain, Austria, Ukraine, Ireland, England, Sweden, Kosovo, Switzerland, Finland, Greece, Hungary and other countries in Europe.
- Nnamdi Kanu has been in the confinement of the Department of State Security Service since October, 2015.
Former Minister of Youth and Sports and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bolaji Abdullahi, has announced his intention to contest the Kwara Central Senatorial seat. Speaking on Monday during a visit to the PDP secretariat in Ilorin, Kwara state capital, Abdullahi vowed to unseat Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe, who currently holds the seat.
He stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed Nigerians and the incumbent lawmaker has not done anything tangible for the people of the senatorial district.

Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy of the P-Square, has refuted claims of Eedris Abdulkareem that his group was assaulted by American rapper, 50 Cent and his crew at a concert held at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos in 2004. Naija News reported that Abdulkareem, in a recent podcast interview, said that 50 Cent’s crew flogged and chased out Nigerian artistes, including P-Square, out of the backstage area at a concert.

IGP Baba Appoints Anyasinti As Police Special Fraud Unit Boss
Nneka Anyasinti has emerged as the 27th Commissioner of Police, Special Fraud Unit (SFU), Lagos, Naija News has learned. In a statement on Thursday, the fraud unit spokesman, Eyitayo Johnson, said the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, appointed Anyasinti to head the unit following her track record.
He disclosed that the new commissioner of police, who took over from the immediate past head of the unit, Anderson Bankole, becomes the second female to head the division.
