2023: South-East Needs To Align With Other Regions To Produce President
A former minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka has called on politicians in the South-East to align with another region in the next four to eight years to produce the next president of Nigeria. The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday noted that the votes of people from the South-East alone can not produce a president without support from another region.
Chidoka stated this during an interview on Channels TV on Thursday.

Naija News reports that unknown gunmen attacked the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District on Sunday along Enugwu-Ukwu road in Anambra State.
It was gathered that the assailants ambushed the lawmaker’s convoy and opened fire on his cars in an attempt to get a hit on Ubah but the senator managed to escape the attack despite his car being riddled with bullets.
Some police operatives and aides of the lawmaker were killed in the attack.
