President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday approved the appointment of Senator Margret Chuba Okadigbo as the Board Chairman of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited. Naija News reports that this was made known in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
The appointments which took effect from the date of the incorporation of the NNPC Limited was in accordance with the power vested in the President under Section 59(2) of the Petroleum Industry Act 2021.
